- Preparing actionable management accounting reports by assessing their correctness, adequacy, and timeliness using industry and risk management framework and monitoring the actions taken on these reports so as to increase revenue and productivity and reduce costs
- Ensuring that all financial, management and cost accounting records are accurately and timely prepared and maintained so that they are actionable and verifiable
- Monitoring and controlling the factory cost management system by assessing the correctness, timeliness, and adequacy of cost accounting records in order to arrive at accurate product pricing and inventory and departmental costs
- Complying with governance, risk, and control
- Ensuring all entries in the financial and cost accounting books are in conformity with the statutory laws, financial accounting, and cost accounting standards and that all statutory filings are done in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring that all statutory laws, taxation (direct and indirect) laws, and financial accounting and cost accounting standards are strictly adhered
